Key Colony Beach is a quiet community just across the Sadowski Causeway from all the excitement and opportunities of Marathon Florida. It has its own marina, several affordable informal restaurants, bars and beachfront venues with live music and good local color. There is also a 9-hole community golf course and two public parks, one of which hosts a nightly sunset ritual to take in the serene beauty that is the Florida Keys. Walk along the beach, bike the open streets, swim and snorkel the clear shallow waters or just relax along the sandy beach. Havana Jack's oceanfront bar and grill is a mere 100 yards down the beach, and happy hour at Key Colony Inn is not to be missed.

Marathon itself has two major grocery stores, Home Depot, and an amazing assortment of bars and restaurants.
